Quaker Houghton Macron® EDM 130

Macron® EDM 130 is a spark EDM oil / dielectric and is preferably used in roughing operations.

Macron® EDM 130 is based on a specially refined, high-purity technical white oil. The low aromatic content of Macron® EDM 130 ensures a significant improvement in the working environment. The high dielectric strength enables low EDM gaps, which, in combination with the good flushing capacity, leads to a high removal rate

 
Application:
Macron® EDM 130 enables effective roughing. Due to the high viscosity, the EDM sludge is quickly transported from the processing point to the filter. This ensures high removal rates and avoids the formation of electric arcs.
In addition, Macron® EDM 130 is successfully used for grinding carbide. Thanks to the high purity of the oil, cobalt components from the carbide are practically not dissolved.
Macron® EDM 130 is also suitable for use as an age-resistant special spindle oil for tightly fitted spindles, special grinding spindles, and general lubrication purposes and crack detection.
